HOW TO GET
THE COMPASS.
You cannot. No compass item in Fortnite leads you to the Pirate Shop Token. The compass at the top of the screen only shows which way you are facing.
There is no compass pickup, code, or download. Clips of a compass pointing at a winning chest are a reported hoax. Do not pay for an account or a tool that claims to find Pirate Shop Access.
What players mean by the compass
Two different things get called a compass. Only one of them is actually in the game, and it does not find the token.
The viral compass. Beebom and esports.gg report that videos of a large compass guiding a player to Pirate Shop Access do not show a real item. esports.gg quotes a November 3, 2026 Fortnite Status reply: buying an account or using fake tools is a scam, and every player has the same kind of chance from chests in Battle Royale.
The HUD compass. Battle Royale already shows a compass for direction. It does not mark treasure chests, and it does not highlight one that contains Pirate Shop Access. Facing north, or any other heading, before you open a chest has not been shown to change the reward.
How the compass relates to the token
Players call the reward the Pirate Shop Token. In Fortnite, look for Pirate Shop Access. It is a rare Treasure Hunt result, not a compass you equip or follow. Polygon describes ordinary Battle Royale chests rolling that prize for you and, as reported, your party. Epic has not published the drop rate. More chests mean more attempts under whatever system the game uses. They are not a guaranteed find.

What to do instead

Play public Battle Royale
Search during Treasure Hunters, while chest rewards for the season are active. Reload is not a confirmed source. Creative is not one either.

Open chests along a route you can finish
Reports describe normal chests, not a secret compass chest. Lantern Landing and the other published routes are about covering ground. They are not higher-odds tiles.

Read the reward before you activate it
A winning chest is reported to announce Pirate Shop Access. The 14-day timer starts when you choose Activate Now, not when a compass points somewhere. Check when the token ends and when to start the window.

Ignore shortcuts that ask for money or a login
This site cannot grant a token. You never need to share an Epic password, buy an account, or install a compass tool.
Can you get the Pirate Shop Token in Reload?
Not that we can confirm. Epic has not published a mode list that puts Reload on the same prize pool as Treasure Hunters chests. The finds described by Polygon, and the Fortnite Status note quoted by esports.gg, are Battle Royale chest rewards.
Reload also does not add the rumored compass. That item is not part of Battle Royale either. If you are hunting Pirate Shop Access, play a public Battle Royale match and open chests there. Do not count Reload or Creative games as extra rolls. If a later update names more modes, the in-game event text is the source to trust.
